It has been less than 12 months since Stephen, as part of Cruthu Arts Festival first brought his debut, epic one man comedy storytelling show ‘Post-Disposed to the Backstage.
That show was a preview for a 10 day run at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe which was subsequently followed up with a European Tour through London, Ghent, Maastricht, Barcelona finishing in Madrid in late September.
This all taking place Just 7 months after a non FDA-approved, life changing Stem Cell Transplant called HSCT that was hoped to halt the progress of his ‘No Treatment, No Cure’ prognosis. The only one given for the diagnosis of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.
The tour was performed to and connected with hugely multinational audiences from Millennials to Baby Boomers and the reviews captured on this Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/postdisposed/ frame the impressions all through that tour and rocking an impressive 4.8***** review!!
The success has meant Post-Disposed has been selected to be part of the 2019 San Diego Fringe Festival so while something of a homecoming this performance will be a preview of the updated 2019 version bound for the U.S.
Plans are afoot for a first Irish tour in the Autumn to keep the flow going.
Last year it was billed as ‘The Post-Disposed a show that promises to enlighten and inspire as much as it will entertain’ this year it returns as a seasoned work that has evolves as it travels.
A story about events small and mega, the love of travel, self-medical advocacy, overcoming adversity and having a lot of fun along the way…
