Here are some more information for Wrench Set Tool:

Congratulations on your home purchase. No matter what the age of the house, there will always be something which needs to be done, and if you want to do as much as possible, tools will be a requirement.
One of the first things I suggest you purchase is a book for home repairs. Home Depot has one, Lowes has one, and I know bookstores have a wide variety. These books are invaluable in gathering information either for repairs or for project planning. They will usually cover all of the basics, plus give you information on larger items which you probably will get a professional repair person for. I would suggest getting one which has ample illustrations, as these can be extremely helpful. You'll learn how to fix a toilet, replace an electrical switch, and so many other things!
In getting yourself equipped with tools, I would make a couple of suggestions. You could go and spend a lot on a tool chest filled with hundreds of pieces, but I would pass on this: start with a few simple tools such as a small hammer , a good set of screw drivers, an adjustable wrench (perhaps a smaller one and a larger one), pliers, a drill, a tape measure, putty knife, safety glasses, and a utility knife. You may want to get an inexpensive tool box as well.
A couple of other things to think about are a step ladder, drop cloth, duct tape, a paint brush, extension cord, a pair of work gloves, as well as a flashlight (at least one).
When purchasing tools, you can get the cheapest or the most expensive. My philosophy is if you're not sure how much you're going to be using the tool, then don't start with the most expensive. Spend less and if you find you're using the tool all the time, you can then look to replace it, and at that point you'll have a better idea of what you want. I could go on and on about tools that you might want, but I think it best to start with the basics and add on as you go.
If you have some large projects in mind, you don't necessarily need to buy the expensive tools to get started. Many hardware stores rent tools which you might need, such as a circular saw, tile saw, hammer drill, table saw, and pneumatic nail guns and compressors. You will save a lot of money renting these items if you don't think you'll ever use them again. And, you'll have less clutter in your garage or workbench area.
Good luck!

The History of Blackhawk Tools plus Buying Tips
Household hand tools are very important because they have many uses. This is why there are many tool manufacturing companies you can find. One of them is the Blackhawk Company, which is a smaller brand of Proto division. Proto is a division of the Stanley Works Blackhawk manufacturing company. It emerged nearly a century ago, in 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. It started as the American Grinder Company subsidiary. The AGC company was later renamed Applied Power Corporation. In those days, the company made Blackhawk tools for automobiles such as the spanners (wrenches) and sockets. It also made some special tools. Commonly, people simply call the company the Blackhawk.
This American brand has earned a huge popularity in the country because of its unrivaled quality tools. The company recognition is also because of its contribution to improve the drive tools such as the gearless ratchets, locking sockets, some drive tools and telescoping ratchet handles. Expert engineers such as Sigmund Mandl, who also worked for Husky Wrench Company before joining Blackhawk and Edward Pfauser, deserve recognition. They made the designs for the tools we enjoy today from Blackhawk.
This brand has worked with famous companies like Armstrong Bros Tool between the end of 1920s and the late forties. During this collaboration, the two companies produced a wide variety of open-ended spanners or wrenches. The tools were all under Blackhawk Armstrong brand. During 50's, the company endured an acquisition by the New Britain Machine Company. Twenty years later, Litton industries bought the NBM Company. Later in the 80's, the National Hand Tool acquired the hand tool section of Litton along with the Husky and Blackhawk brands. Stanley Works, which owns Blackhawk as a sub-division now, acquired the National Hand Tool in 1986.
If you are searching for good quality tools, try the products of this brand. You can easily do the shopping on the Internet or you could simply depend upon the brand's tool catalogue. The Blackhawk tools come in a range to help you choose the design and the models you want. The tools will suit all your household shores including building a house, building a garden border and fastening and unfastening nuts and so on. You can get any device you have been looking for in vain. Any Blackhawk tool is durable and high performing. Once you spend money to buy them you cannot go back shopping again.
If you want tools to use in your workshop, this company's products are still the best. Buy your best drill press, wrench or spanner, cutting tools and any other device you want online. Do not let the competition confuse your buying decision. Blackhawk tools should be your number one products. As mentioned above, the company has been operating for close to one hundred years. Therefore, it has won the customer's trust over the years. Just read the customer reviews online. You will discover that other customers have a great love for these products. It is important to read those testimonials because you can learn more about the tool you want to buy. In addition, you can make a more informed decision, based on the experiences of those who own the same tool.

How do you organize your socket wrench set?
I have some old tools that I never really got to organizing. Some are metric some are english. Some are 3/8 and some are 1/4 drive. Thing is it's hard to organize them in a way to find them in order because for example, I have a 13mm socket that's a 3/8 drive, but then I have a 12mm with a 1/4 drive. I have some socket holders, but they hold ACCORDING to the drive size NOT the socket size. So what do you guys do to organize them best? What works best to organize sockets that aren't in order of drive size rather in socket size? Also, how do some of you substitute the english measurements for the metric measurements? How do you know for example (and this might be wrong) that a 3/16 is also a 16mm socket?
You organize SEPARATELY by drive size. If you organize by socket size without regard to drive size, you will find yourself constantly attempting to attach sockets to the wrong size drive. There are NOT exact conversions between MOST English and metric sizes. You can find approximate matches with an Internet search for "English to metric conversions"
