Trevor Lock's Community Circle has become something of a Cult Classic at the Edinburgh Fringe over the last decade. With no 2 shows the same it has gone on to connect with audiences from South east Asia to South America demonstrating the absolute universality of it's appeal... so why not Ireland?
A social experiment? A support group for people looking to find their own comedy? 12-step meeting? Literal mind-reading show? A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? (Unless you go back the next day?) A prayer group? A waste of everyone's time and money? Those who wish to participate are free to do so, as are those who prefer to sit back, relax and watch the spectacle unfold.

Trevor Lock will be one of the headline artists of the coolest little Arts Festival in the Midlands. Cruthu, Longford's Arts Festival will feature a line up that will also include Duke Special and percussionist Chip Bailey, Jazz with the amazing Sue Ryhnart and a town alive with local and international Visual artists, Spoken word, workshops..

TREVOR LOCK WORKSHOP!! - Wednesday July 24 - 8pm - The Market Bar (Upstairs)
1 Ballymahon St, Deanscurragh, Longford The only workshop of the tour, something Trevor has offered previously in Barcelona and Rio on his travels. The workshop is geared to anyone who is seeking help with all public speaking and vital tips on how to handle a live audience. The Workshop is provided and subsidised by Cruthu and is why it can be offered at just €20 (less than €7p/h!!) Workshop is limited to 12 people!! |
