The hole where I slip the allen wrench was completely calcified, so i scrubbed it out with a q-tip. i've tried every size of allen wrench but nothing seems to budge the screw even if thye catch. How can I get that screw out?
nut may be stripped, but i'm not sure if i'm using the right allen wrench because it is so far recessed.
spray the area with wd 40. that should loosen the gunk on the inside. ur question is confusing do u have the right size allen wrench. usually appliances like that comes with their own allen wrench. do u have that one? are the sides of the screw bent or out of shape> u may have stripped the screw hole?
