Mini Snap Ring Plier SetWe have been using these mini snap ring pliers for a while now...beta testing of sorts...and find them to the be go to tool for the removal and installation of both internal and external retaining rings. The tips are said to be 1mm diameter...frankly one still has to take a blade and remove the paint, but not file down the tips like with the larger pliers. 4 tools in this set....two that open when squeezed for the tiny lever pin clips on an Olympia Cremina (one straight and one curved...I personally like the curved one for this job...more control and no scratches) and two that close when squeezed for the big C clip inside the group of the Olympia Cremina and the La Pavoni or Caravel, again curved tip and straight. Give enough mechanical advantage to do the job but not so much as to bend or break the ring....the fat handle held between the thumb and forefinger gives a stable grip for fingertip contol and the size leaves enough room inside the cylinder to |
