Here are some more information for Socket Set Semi:
The Canon 7D, on the market for almost a year, is in my humble opinion the best digital SLR Canon has released for the avid amateur or semi-pro. It's not a 5D and it's not a 1Ds but it is an affordable camera with great specifications. And, comparing it to the 500D for my application has a microphone input. The video is incredible and I can quite see why ad commercials have been shot on this camera.
So why did I purchase this camera? Firstly, the ability to record sound directly from a microphone plugged into the camera. I was a little surprised at the fact that there is no way to control volume levels which is a downside although Canon have promised a firmware update. There is a work around if you are serious about your video sound and that is to use a stereo digital recorder mounted on the hot shoe. Taking your sound out of the recorder into the mic socket allows you  to control the sound as good as the ability of your digital recorder. For my applications this is more than adequate.
Canon have maintained their participation in the megapixel race by giving a brand new 18 megapixel APS-C sensor with a 1.6x crop factor. The new sensor gathers plenty of light with each pixel 4.3 microns in size with their gapless microlenses assisting with this. This baby is definitely competition to the Nikon  D300.
The 7D is designed for speed with dual DIGIC 4 chips together with a fantastic 8 frames per second top speed. The buffer can handle 94 jpegs at the highest speed or 15 RAW images. Â I like the fact that exposure compensation has been increased to five stops over or under coupled with a top ISO of 6400 which can be expanded to 12 800.
If you like HD video then this camera is for you. The HD movie mode captures full HD video at 30 fps when set to NTSC format and 25 fps when set to PAL in non-USA countries. Just be sure that your PC can handle these files and don't get a surprise like me when it doesn't.
The electronic horizon level to help with those landscape images doesn't ring any bells for me but will probably help some. The RAW button will help when moving between jpeg and RAW as long as you remember the last change you made. Another little feature is the flash commander mode that allows you to control up to three groups of off camera flash units.
I am happy that there is still a non-full frame high end DSLR that will allow me to get that extra out of my zoom lenses. It's size is slightly bigger than the 50D weighing in at 3.23 pounds or 1.4kg with a 28-105 kit lens.
If you are looking for the  idiots settings or Scene Mode you'll find that they are missing on the dial which hails this camera as an entry level pro camera. The enthusiast who can afford it will miss these settings.
If you are looking for a camera that shoots high quality video and stills then this one is for you. There is a lot more that I could write about the 7D but what I have given here is perhaps for the serious amateur who is looking to take a step up to pro quality and ease of use without breaking the bank. Recessed Grids

Aurora
The Aurora Recessed Grid can come as perforated or lensed and with direct or indirect illumination. It comes with a concave reflector that gives Aurora the illusion of being a skylight. The Aurora provides soft and uniform illumination. The Aurora will fit well in a business environment, but can also be incorporated in a wide range of architectural environments.
Whisper 3D
The Whisper 3D is also a recessed grid that comes with a center accent panel with customizable colors and offers direct illumination. It features the signature sloping lines and angles of the Whisper recessed grid series but is set apart by the center accent panel with colors that can be modified to match the design and style of the rest of the space that it will illuminate.
Recessed Linear
Recessed linear lighting provides a more direct form of illumination. Recessed linear lighting products come in a variety of configurations and designs to suit a wide range of architectural environments. Lamps for recessed linear lighting also vary, with fluorescent lighting and LED lighting as the choices.
BiFocal
The BiFocal recessed linear lighting comes with general and accent illumination and is 6 inches wide. MR16 lamps are incorporated to provide soft accent downlighting while a T5, a T8 or a T5H0 will provide general illumination. Slot 2 LED

Perimeter Systems
Perimeter Plus
The Perimeter Plus is a recessed lighting product that is ideal for lighting corridors and other long or extended places, with its 40 feet of seamless reflector. The Perimeter Plus makes use of T8, T5, or T5H0 lamps to eliminate socket shadowing. These lamps also provide efficient lighting for only eight watts per perimeter foot, making it energy efficient. The Perimeter Plus allows for easy installation and comes with a standard telescoping housing and lamp trays.
SP LED
The SP LED is another perimeter system lighting product that is recessed or semi-recessed. Videoconference

Multitask
The Multitask is a recessed lighting solution that offers a combination of both general and videoconferencing illumination. The Multitask features a perforated basket with a soft acrylic overlay that easily swings down to allow accessibility for relamping and other maintenance tasks.
VC2C
The VC2C is a recessed lighting solution that highly specializes in spaces designed for videoconferencing purposes. It makes use of an advanced reflector system that provides superior illumination with advanced glare control and minimal shadowing. It is also able to provide contrast-free illumination. Duets

CVG
The CVG is recessed, features an open cove, and provides direct illumination. The CVG has a shallow profile making it ideal for most cove installations. It is designed to provide optimal ceiling illumination while the lamp shield redirects the light away from wall surfaces. The CVG comes in a number of lamp lengths and choices.
Eclipse
The Eclipse is a pendant type lighting fixture. It is capable of providing indirect and direct illumination as well as ambient illumination. It features a curved modern design that gives it a shallow, floating appearance. Steel connectors ensure that the Eclipse remains straight and consistent as well as stable. A wall mount version is also available.

The Slice is a recessed grid that is triangular in shape to add creativity to functionality. It is capable of providing direct illumination. The Mark Lighting Slices can be arranged in a row or grouped in a variety of patterns. It has also been designed to fit into the most common ceiling grids.
When considering the expansion of its facilities, Walsh College was determined to have the latest additions of campus buildings to be environmentally friendly and of sustainable design. Walsh College was also interested in acquiring a LEED certification. They opted for Mark Architectural Lighting products for their lighting, as Mark Lighting is dedicated to green lighting and sustainable design as all Acuity Brands are.

Mansueto Ventures wanted a fresh look for its new location at the newly built 7 World Trade Center Building to go with the fresh image for the two magazines being established there. With custom luminaires to fit the spaces' function and lighting needs, a modern look with a high visual performance level was achieved.

The Slot 4 is a recessed linear lighting and is able to provide direct illumination. It features a standard four inch width. The Slot 4 can come with either a halogen or metal halide MR16 downlight component. It is capable of both point source lighting and general illumination. It also features a regressed lens option which adds dimension to its sleek, linear design. Slot 4 is a lighting solution that would be great for adding to a streamlined room design while also providing efficient and effective lighting for a visually ideal environment.
The project was to create a clean and uncluttered design for 555 Mission Street tower's top floor to reflect the tower's streamlined all-glass design. With its goal of creating an unpretentious and quiet environment, Slot 4's sleek lines and linear design was considered ideal especially when matched with its efficient and functional lighting.
V. LED Lighting
LEDs or light emitting diodes are currently on the rise in the commercial markets for lighting, and there seems to be no end in sight. LED lighting is fast becoming the future of the lighting industry, what with its superior lumen output and its minimal energy consumption. LEDs also do not emit as much heat as its lighting contemporaries.
For sustainable design, LED lighting is the best choice. LEDs don't contain any toxic materials like mercury and has minimal emissions of carbon dioxide. The lifespan of a LED is also significantly longer. A LED lamp is capable of lasting for eleven years when in full use, which would be twenty-two years with 50% usage. This cuts down on lamp replacement and disposal, which also cuts down on maintenance cost.
LEDs are also leading the lighting race with its low energy consumption. A low energy consumption rate can translate to lower energy costs. Thus, more and more companies and commercial building are opting to go green and go LED for the significant ROI and savings that it offers.
Mark Architectural Lighting sees the potential of LEDs and is continuously working on developing designs and conceptualizing possible uses that are commercially tenable. Already there are LEDs in Mark Architectural Lighting's product line up.
Slot 2 LED
Slot 2 LED is a recessed lighting that is capable of direct illumination. It features a nominal width of two inches and a LED lamp. Will I need an amp for surround sound?
Hi there, I'm intending to set up a semi-surround sound system for my HDTV. Nothing over the top, just a subwoofer and the two speakers I got with it, plus two more hardcore hi-fi style speakers.
Anyway to the point, will I need an amp to do all that, or can I use some kind of splitter?
My first intentions were to simply connect the four speakers to the woofer, then the woofer to the TV, my woofer however only has two RCA sockets and can't fit all four speakers.

Will a 'Cambridge Audio P25 MkII integrated amplifier' do the job of supporting 4 speakers and a subwoofer?
The P25 will not do the job, and you won't get 'surround sound' without a true AV receiver.
