Disposable storage containers, while quite budget-friendly, are pure junk as far as actually being useful food storage devices.

Not to say they don't store things adequately. They hold 'em just fine.

However. They totally fall down on the job when it comes to the freezing and thawing process. And they are very neglectful at being airtight.

So, say, for example, you brought home a small weevil colony from the grocery store. Theoretically. You could NOT count on the disposable containers to keep any hypothetical weevils from reproducing in your pantry. Or any actual weevils. Really. We threw away an entire pantry full of food. So disgusting. They particularly loved the Veggie Burger Mix. Eww.

When it's cold, we make a lot of soup in this here house, freeze the leftovers and nuke 'em for lunch. Saves money and saves the husband from eating Lean Cuisines or weevil-infested veggie burgers. Nasty.

What a great buy! This cookware is great!...cooks evenly, no stick, easy to clean and will probably last forever. The transaction was quick, I had the set within a few days.

Have had this set of pots for about a month now, and I love them. They arrived in a timely fashion and were well-packed. I originally thought I would purchase individual pots as needed in the local stores, but when I saw the number of pieces in this set for the price, I couldn't resist. Plus, they are all good size, usable pieces, not just various cooking implements included with the set to increase the number of pieces in it.

Everything I've cooked in them has turned out well. They clean up easily either by hand or dishwasher. The only thing I would prefer is an 8-quart pot that can be used as a dutch oven--one that is not as tall and has a broader base than the 8-quart stock pot that is included with the set so that browning meat is easier. Until I find a better one, I'll continue to use my old pot for stews and pot roast. I highly recommend this set of pots, especially at the Amazon price!

Has anyone used Ripcords resistance bands?

I am interested in buying a set of 3 Ripcords resistance bands for $24.99. I wanted to know if anyone has used them before, and if they have, how satisfied were you. Do you think they are worth the price? They come with a lifetime warranty, so I assumed they would be good to use. what are your experiences with Ripcords?

That isnt a bad price at all for resistance bands, especially if they have a warranty. I have used them before, and they were awesome. I wouldnt use them for strength building thow because they will break (ie..making them use the max resistance possible)...but if your using them to tone, they will be awesome
