After focusing on the breakout (season one) and the manhunt (season two), season three of Prison Break turns the concept on its head by throwing everyone involved with the show so far--fugitives, lawmen, villains--into the same prison. When we left off in season two's finale, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) had been exonerated of the murder for which he was framed since the beginning of the series, but Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) landed himself behind bars during the escape in Panama. It's no coincidence that he's placed in SONA, a remote place for the lowliest of criminals, along with his pursuers Agent Mahone (William Fichtner) and Bellick (Wade Willams), and fellow former inmate Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell (Robert Kneppner), who naturally cozies up to the crime lord who rules the prison in an effort to move up in the ranks. The main premise of Prison Break this time around is Michael needing to break someone else out of prison for The Company, the crime network responsible for all nefarious doings on the show. The Company's rep is a homicidal, sneering assassin named Susan (sometimes Gretchen) (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), who's holding hostage both Lincoln's son LJ and Michael's love Sara until Michael carries out his mission. The typically false starts, double-crossings, and man-that-was-close moments you'd expect to come from a series like this are all there, but this time around episodes feel scattershot, a far cry from the white-knuckle tension builder that was season one. Fichtner, who joined in the second season, is a standout as a pill-popping agent-turned-inmate in withdrawal who must now collaborate with the man he chased across the country. The new characters introduced don't have much purpose; the many plot twists (he's a good guy... no, a bad guy... no, wait, a good guy) leave you a little less motivated each time to keep tuning in, and the final straw is one main character's death early in the season (reportedly because of a contract dispute between the producers and the actor). Originally planned as a jolt to the series, it instead angered many fans who had been long awaiting a just payoff. This would later be rectified before the fourth season, but there's no telling how many Prison Break fans may have skipped town before then. --Ellen A. Prison Break - Season One List Price: $59.98 Sale Price: $15.58 |

Season one of Prison Break is great television. Here's the set-up. Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is framed and wrongfully convicted for assassinating the Vice President's brother. Lincoln's brother Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), who just happens to have designed Illinois' Fox River Penitentiary where Lincoln is on death row, hatches an elaborate escape plan. Michael's plan involves getting himself incarcerated in Fox River and smuggling the prison's blueprints by having them hidden in tattoos that cover his entire torso. Once inside, Michael must form alliances with a rogue's gallery of felons with their own sometimes unsavory motives. Meanwhile, on the outside, Lincoln's lawyer and one-time girlfriend Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney), pursued by Secret Service agents, attempts to unravel the conspiracy that sent her man to the slammer. Prison Break is anchored by tight, suspenseful writing clearly relished by the largely little-known cast. Standouts include Robert Knepper as the murderer/pedophile T-Bag, who somehow makes such a despicable character likeable. Stacey Keach of Mike Hammer fame plays the warden-with-a-heart-of-gold, who clashes with Captain Brad Bellick (Wade Williams) over whether to rehabilitate the inmates or makes their lives more miserable. Peter Stormare, famous for his skills with a wood chipper in Fargo, turns in a deliciously menacing performance as mob boss John Abruzzi, while Amaury Nolasco's winsome Fernando Sucre shares a cell and secrets with Miller's Scofield. Watching the show one gets a sense that this is the opening salvo of Wentworth Miller's career, which will doubtless include roles as assassins, detectives, super heroes, and perhaps the champion of staring contests. Midway through the season it's explained that Scofield is a genius with an heightened sensitivity to other peoples' suffering, which sums up what makes the show so great--the mind-bendingly intricate plot is a framework for moments when people make others suffer and cope with the burden of their own suffering. The six-disc set includes 22 addictive episodes, audio commentary on selected episodes, three featurettes, and alternate and deleted scenes. As with most TV shows on DVD, the "previously on Prison Break" intros can get tiresome, but that's what the fast forward button is for. --Ryan Boudinot Beyond Prison Break on DVD Watch Bones on DVD Catch up on 24 on DVD Check out Saving Grace on DVD Stills from Prison Break - Season One (Click for larger image) PRISON BREAK:SEASON 1 - DVD Movie |

Here are some more information for Set Disc Brakes:

1. Take your time: Where you shop is largely dependent on what you're looking for. If you want a basic bike, then you could easily find one at a discount store or department store. However, finding a quality bike will be more challenging. By doing some research, you can first find the make and model that you want. Your next mission will be to find the lowest price available. Fortunately, the Internet has made that process much easier. By simply clicking your computer mouse, you can browse several stores until you find what you're looking for.
2. Set a budget: Without setting a budget, you'll risk spending more than you can actually afford. So take the time to review your monthly budget and determine the price range that would be ideal for your needs. But remember that a budget is useless if you don't stick to it. So when you start shopping for your mountain bike, use fiscal discipline to avoid spending more than you can honestly afford.
3. Go for a test ride: You might think this will be a problem when shopping online, but some online retailers now offer 30-day test rides which enables you to take a bike for a spin and give it a thorough test. If you're not happy with it then there's a hassle-free way of returning it and every penny is refunded.
4. Ask around: The best referrals are personal ones. Ask friends, relatives, co-workers and professionals about which bike model they'd recommend for all terrain purposes. Some online retailers also feature customer reviews and product recommendations which can help your decision making process.
5. Know what you're looking for: This is one of the best ways to create a short list of mountain bikes to choose from. Are you looking for a basic or high-end bike? How often will you ride it? How much are you willing to spend? Are there particular parts which you want your bike to have such as hydraulic disc brakes or compact geometry? These are all crucial questions that will ultimately help you to find the perfect mountain bike for your needs.
6. Do your homework about components: The mountain bike's components are those parts that are detachable from the frame. They include the braking system, wheels and gear shifters. At first, you might be overwhelmed by the numerous components that mountain bikes contain. However, by doing your homework before you shop, you'll soon have a better sense of what's available and what you're looking for.
If you're in the market for a mountain bike then these tips can help you to find the best one for your needs. You'll soon be ready to roll on your new bike!

1968 Chevy Camaro Disc Brake Swap Part 1
What better way to get your Muscle Car to stop than with a set of disc brakes.
Lets Get This is Thing To Stop!
Our project car this time is a Classic Muscle Car: The 1968 Chevy Camaro. Although some came through with factory front disc brakes, our car was originially
a six cylinder converted into a V8 and unfortunately a four wheel drum car, but dont let this bother you. its really no big deal.
How Much You Spend Dictates How Well You Stop!
As much as we preach about not having to spend tons of money on your Muscle Car, brakes is one area where you can really spend some dough. But you do
not have to over spend to see an improvement. As usual, we always rely on proper planning and research to determine what fits our needs.
Good, Better, Best?
We chose one of the cheaper disc brake conversions from SSBC. The kit comes with everything from drums, pads, seals, bearings and even chrome bearing caps!
For around $1000, you get everything short of grease and a rear axle seal and oil. The next step up we found is a good system from Wilwood. Then theres Brembo
brakes. Big money, big stopping power. Usually for big horsepower cars. This set up was not for our budget, but nonetheless is pretty sweet.
Lets Get Started
As always, get the car safely jacked up and use safety stands...always!. With the front wheels off, front brakes disassembly is easy. Take off the bearing cap, remove
cotter pin, unscrew main nut and the the drum comes off. Undo the brake line from the wheel cylinder, and then unbolt the steering arm. At this point,
great care must be taken since you need to unbolt the spindle from the control arms. We used a jack to take the pressure off of the springs as we
unbolted everything. With everything unbolted, we lowered the jack to release tension, and poof, its all apart. Its that easy!
Prep The Front Carefully
We needed to reuse our steering arm from the old drum set up, so we cleaned them up, painted them and reinstalled them onto our
new disc brake spindles. Replace the spindles in reverse order of removing them. With spindles on, now you can pack your bearings,
install your seals, and bolt on your rotor. Now, attach the caliper bracket to the spindle and attach the new caliper to the bracket. You
will also have to change your flexible hydraulic line to fit the new caliper. And thats all it is!
Continue to follow this 2 part series blog as we will tackle the rear brakes and new master cylinder and proportioning valve next time

What is a good set of hydralic disc brakes for a decent price?
I am looking for a good set of disc brakes for a decent price? I want both front and back disc brakes. I am looking in the price range of under $100. I like the Avid Juicy brakes but they are kinda pricey.
Also, what are the advantages of hydraulic brake compared to mechanical? Is it true that if the tube is cut the brakes are useless since the fluid will leak out? Is the braking performance between the two that different because one uses a liquid as opposed to a wire?
Well, regarding the myth that if a tube is cut, well, it's true, but, it's not common. Anything can break-misadjust-malfunction. Hydros has been a very reliable brakes (of course, depending on which particular brakes you're considering).
I have both mechaninical brakes (Avid BB7 calipers with Avid FR5 levers) that work pretty well, and I have worked with hydros from Hayes, Shimano, and Magura.
A well adjusted pair of BB7 can work similar to a good hydro, so maybe if you don't want to spend too much money, the BB7 mechs could be a very good option.
Powerwise, both mechs and hydros can be very powerfull (you can get larger rotors if you ride more extreme or are heavier), but in general, where hydros work better than mechs is in modulation, and that hydros pads self adjust as the pads wear out, while on mechs you must move the pads closer.
