How To Replace Your Car’S Master Cylinder
A vehicle’s master cylinder is one part of the braking system that should be replaced if it is no longer working properly. If it doesn’t get replaced, the brake system could fail and cause you to lose your brakes, making you fail in trying to stop your care safely. This is where the importance of getting branded auto products comes in, because they are sturdier than cheaper ones and other imitations.
Items needed to replace the master cylinder include a wrench set, a socket, large screwdrivers, pliers, flare nut wrenches, a pair of safety glasses and protect fender covers. Additional items needed are brake fluid, spray penetrating oil and a master cylinder.
The first step to replacing the master cylinder is to put old newspapers underneath the one in your car. Place a guard covers on the fender to avoid brake fluid spilling on it. For good quality workshop equipment, visit a shop that is known to specialize on automotive marketing.
After putting a fender cover, disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and spray some penetrating oil on the fittings to make it come loose. Flare nut wrenches are essential to prevent stripping of the brake line fittings. Once the lines are removed, tape them to avoid contamination of the lines.
The next step is to remove the mounting nuts or bolts from the firewall, and pulling the master cylinder forward after. Lift it upward away from the mounting bolts to remove it. Install the replacement master cylinder on the car and make sure that the push rod is positioned correctly. Reinstall the master cylinder mounting nuts or bolts and tighten them securely. Reinstall the brake lines to the master cylinder and have someone else depress the brake pedal slowly until the brake fluid sweeps pass the threads of the fitting.
Tighten the line with flare nut wrenches and you’re done!

Wheel Problem on Rear End of my Car.?
I wanted to ask the Yahoo Community, I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima SE and I have two bent wheels mounted on the rear of the car. This is where the problem sets in, I cant seem to be able to take the wheels off. When I try to wrench off the lug nuts, the wheel turns also. Is there something stripped on the axle of the car? or maybe something related.
Thanks
your car is front wheel drive, so you'll have to put the e brake on first. break the lugs while the car is on the ground, then jack it in the air.
