The type of cars that attract the most attention at eBay Motors may come as a surprise. More than anything it's the way the vehicle is marketed that ultimately is more powerful than just the make, model, and year of the car. Sure big trucks are usually viewed as not being gas-friendly, but there are countless people out there who use them for more than just routine means of transport. If these uses of the truck can be added to an eBay listing, it will give internet auto shoppers something to think about. For example, businesses are always looking for a van or truck to move materials. Mentioning that the listed truck can provide that service can go a long way.
Timing can lead to significant profits when it comes to selling a vehicle on eBay that is used during only certain parts of the year. A convertible or a 2-seater sports car would make sense to list during the spring and early summer months. After all, why would someone in snowy Minnesota want to pay top dollar for a car that they won't be able to drive for many months. The same goes for a snow-plow truck which would command a higher price if listed in December, January, or February.
As long as there are families, there will be family-friendly cars. So mini-vans, SUVs, and large sedans will always be hot sellers on eBay Motors. For twelve months a year there will be eager buyers of these types of vehicles who are shopping online. These are often the types of cars that consistently pull in profit for sellers on eBay Motors.
Most shoppers on eBay are there to get the best possible deal or bargain. That's why cars of the antique variety are not recommended to be listed when looking to make money on the sale of your vehicle. Nobody wants to lose money on their listing, so when it comes to selling an antique car it may be best to set the reserve price very high. This will eliminate the dreamers and keep the auction targeted at high-end car buyers.
Since its launch in April of 2000, eBay Motors has sold millions of cars. Selling your car for profit through this popular online auction website has never been easier. A key to success is setting the selling price at a point which will attract car seekers who are looking for an alternative to a new vehicle. Make the listing look the best you can with pictures, and try and sell the car at a time when people will be looking to buy.

Mercedes Control Arm---taking Matters Into Its Own Hands
The one that is responsible for the precise control, handling, and balance of the drivability of the Mercedes Benz is the control arm. Otherwise called as the wishbone or A-arm of the suspension system, the Mercedes control arm is nearly a flat and roughly triangular member (sub-frame) that pivots in two places. Its broad end is attached at the frame and pivots on a bushing. While the narrow, on the other hand, attaches to the steering knuckle and pivots on a ball joint.
Up to four control arms are fitted to the region between the Mercedes’ rear axle billet and frame. The lower control arms provide the suspension setting parts with a rotational movement whenever the car is cornering. This results to complimenting the suspension system in dispersing chassis flex for a convenient traveling pleasure.
These Mercedes control arm also makes the coil springs to respond to the axle and wheel assembly treading through bumps and potholes. The pivots at the other end of the control arm (which attaches the parts to the chassis) allow for the up and down motion of the coil springs to absorb the shocks during bumps.
To allow for a steady and comfortable feel during travel, the Mercedes control arm synchronizes all four tires to the motion of the vehicle. It is built with cylindrical bushings for a less-friction feature to enhance handling. It also improves steering and less tire wear-out with the less-traction contact surface as the rubber meets the road.
Bearing the brunt of these kinds of pressure constantly and regularly will result to the wear and tear of the Mercedes control arm. Thus, there are control arms which come in twos to share the pressure of dispersing flex across the chassis. Though it proves its durability, it will eventually come into deterioration with rut and flex. To maintain the peak performance of the suspension system, regular check ups and replacements (if the state worsens) must be conducted for more pleasurable and comfortable Mercedes ride.

coil spring spacers?
i want to install spacers on my 84' mercedes wagon. has anyone done this job before? it seems dangerous compressing the springs, and there dosent seem to be alot of room to work. any tips would help. thanks john
to do the job you need to do it spring by spring. Start by jacking up one wheel at a time. When doing that jack up the frame behind the wheel to allow the springs to seperate. Remove the tire so you can have some working room. Its not that hard and is common sense on the safety issues.
