would this new routine for soccer work?
New routine, will it work?
I'm a 17 year old looking to get into better shape, to look and feel better. Now i've heard somewhere that doing a routine of pushups and situps everyday(give or take a day or two for rest) will increase upper and middle body strength and size, straighten my posture, and leave me with a nice tone body. Basically its just to look better but I also play soccer and want to get into better shape.
The routine:
100-200 pushups/per day
50-100 situps/per day
3-10 pullups/per day
Would it work? Or does anyone have any other ideas? This is based on the military boot camp style of workout. And its in addition to a lifting schedule I am on, i've already asked this but I want more opinions
I would knock down your pushup reps by quite a bit...remember it doesnt pay to do 200 sloppy push ups by 40 rock solid ones will have you toned in no time. and when you're doing your sit ups give yourself like 2 min and 3 sec. to do as many good sit ups as you can and your body will get used to the wrkout faster. have fun with that...and listen to some awesome wrkout music while you're doing it!!!
