Floyd Rose Guitar Problem?

Okay so my problem isn't tuning a floyd rose or restringing a floyd rose equipped guitar.... but how to get the locking nuts off. two out of three come off with ease, but the third nut has been damaged and worn like hell so the allen wrench doesn't fit snug and properly in, and when i try to unscrew it, it does nothing. I even tried getting pliers and twisting the nut off, but the nut was too tight on.

And yes I already tried putting some material to make the nut space a little more crowded so the allen wrench can fit snug, but that didn't work either. Please don't recommend me to go to a guitar shop because that's the last thing to do if no other options are there.

Has anyone here in the Yahoo community ever experienced my problem?

I had that problem but mine came out and then i went to guitar center and bought new locking nuts and now its fine. I would suggest calling a guitar store and see if they can help you thru the phone. =)
