Here are some more information for Dent Removal Repair:

Probably the most common dent you can get is from another car parked next to you. You neighbor opens their door to wide and your car gets damaged. Don't get too upset, because it doesn't take a very hard knock to pop a little dent. They may not have even noticed.
Other common ways you might have gotten it are from debris hitting your car at high speeds, such as rocks or gravel that get kicked up on the road, hail stones, and other falling or thrown objects. If the debris is thrown or falls with enough force, it can even cause a crack or chip the paint, which means repair is significantly more complicated. They are also possible from resting heavy objects against or on top of the car, so be gentle.
Should I bother getting it fixed?
Professional mending is very expensive and often people don't think it's worth the money. It does take only moments for a body shop to pop out a couple of superficial dents, but cracks, folds, and paint damage will take considerably longer.
A minor ding is probably best left ignored and can be fixed later before a sale or as more are acquired. However, large ones and those that are creased or show signs of damaged should be fixed immediately. Leaving these problems can result in large areas of damage or further cracking of the body.
Can I fix it myself?
Sometimes yes, but it also depends on how brave you are. If you're not good at DIY projects, this might not be the place to start to learn. You can greatly damage the car with many of the common methods used, which is why you'll just want to bring it to the professionals. Small dings on the doors or hood can often be popped out with your hands or a rubber mallet and small block of wood used on the opposite side to where the problem is.
Plungers can work on doors and there are kits, which work similarly by creating suction, can be purchased at most auto stores. If you have paint damage, unless you are experienced or plan on tackling the task of matching your factory job, you probably want to bring it to a specialist.
How much will it cost?
The repair isn't going to be cheap, but if you shop around you certainly can find a reasonable price. Contact a few different companies. Some specialize in paintless repair, which is usually a lot more affordable than those that will require paint and possibly even body work.
Paintless repairs will depend on the size of the ding, but usually the cost hovers near the area of $200 to $400. Changes that requires some body work can cost upwards of $1,000, at which point you might want to get your insurance involved to cut down on costs.
Regarding dent repair, Virginia Beach professionals know a lot about the paintless process that will cost you less but give a great finish. This will ensure that the repair is not noticeable and there is no more damage to your vehicle. To know more, visit http://www.precisiondr.com/.
Five Reasons to Choose Paintless Dent Removal Vs. Traditional Body Shop Work
Mobile Service
Most paintless dent removal companies offer mobile services that bring the repair shop right to your home or office. Paintless dent repair doesn't require any of the paints or fillers that call for the confines of a body shop, so the technicians can perform the repairs right in your own parking lot. Whether you're looking to reduce the amount of time invested in the process, the high costs of gasoline, or the inconvenience of having your vehicle out of commission for a few hours (or even days), mobile services are one of the primary benefits of paintless dent removal.
Free Online Estimates
When you choose a reputable paintless dent removal company like Dings Plus of San Jose, CA, you get to take advantage of free online estimates. You can even eliminate a step by visiting the company's website and submitting a picture and description of the dent – all without ever leaving your home. You always know what to expect as far as costs and time investment go, which can save you quite a bit of worry and effort.
Saving Money
Paintless dent removal is also a cheaper alternative to traditional body repair work. Since the technicians work with their tools and skills – as opposed to auto paint, sanders, and body fillers – costs are kept low. The overall time investment is shorter, and you can ultimately increase your car's value without sacrificing the original exterior paint. When it comes to the final bill, you can expect paintless dent removal to save up to 70% of what traditional paint and body shops would charge to repair the same damage.
Guaranteed Workmanship
As with the free online estimates, choosing a reputable PDR company to perform your dent removal means that you get service above and beyond the ordinary. As long as your dent falls within the specified criterion, all workmanship is guaranteed. You can expect your car to return to its former condition and stay that way.
Environmentally Safe Repair Technique
Since your dent won't require any auto paint, body fillers, or sanding work, paintless dent removal is one of the most environmentally sound options available in the field of car repair. You can get your car back to its great original shape without worrying about adding any more harmful chemicals into the environment or taking up any more energy than is strictly necessary. This means a lot in California, a state known for its commitment to reducing the ecological footprint of the populace.
The Bottom Line
No matter why you choose paintless dent removal, rest assured that you are making the right choice. The reason it has become so popular in today's automotive community is because of the great benefits for everyone involved – especially for you.

Is do-it-yourself hail dent removal effective?
My insurance company gave me the money they would have spent to repair my car. I'd like to find a cheaper way to repair it than the collision repair center bid. I've already been able to replace my windshield at 1/3 the cost of their bid. Now I'd like to find a way to get rid of at least some of the dents left from the hailstorm. Any suggestions?
Dry ice is a bad idea, yes the cold will cause some of the dents to pop out but on a good hot day with lots of sun shine those dents could reappear. If you could find the correct size do-it-yourself dent puller at an auto part store ( suction cup style ) maybe you can get some of them out. I have been in the Auto Body business my entire life and I would highly recommened you find a company that does PDR ( Paintless Dent Repair ) and if you want to save money only have them remove the ones that are most obvious.
